Yve-Car Momperousse (MBA '14), CEO, and husband Stephane Jean-Baptiste, COO, of Kreyol Essence are making an impact in business and for the people of Haiti. They state that Kreyòl Essence is “Natural with a Purpose” and endeavor to tackle the socioeconomic disparities plaguing Haiti with a business model that benefits the country economically and environmentally.
Since leaving Cornell and the eLab program the leaders of Kreyol Essence crowd-funded with Kiva, hosted former President Clinton and the Clinton Foundation (toured project sites in 2015), won entrepreneurship awards, have been featured in the media all while growing their business.
